Nearly 1400 Cannabis Plants Discovered

In Apple Valley, Calif police have discovered nearly 1,400 marijuana plants worth approimately $4.2 million. The plants were found in an upscale home that had being fully converted into a Cannabis farm.
Sheriff’s deputies found a large and sophisticated growing operation with a specialised air conditioning system int the house on Huasna Road on Monday morning. Greg Garland of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said
“These guys knew what they were doing,”
The home was bought 6 months ago in January for $650,000, neighbours say construction activity followed soon afterwards. The growers had also being pulling electricity illegally, South California Edison investigators estimated they had stolen about $4,000 of electricity a month.
There is an ongoing trend with houses being bought to specifically be used as a Cannabis factory. The area Marijuana Eradication Team has uncovered nearly 40 growing operations in Phelan, Rancho Cucamonga and around San Bernardino County.
